SARS-CoV-2 RNA Detection

COVID-19 is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Direct detection of the viral RNA can be performed using methods that amplify nucleic acids (Figure 1), such as reverse transcription (RT) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP).

RT-LAMP

RayBiotech's COVID-19 Rapid Isothermal PCR Kit is suitable for the qualitative in vitro detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid.

RT-PCR
