COVID-19 Spike-ACE2 Binding Assay Kit

The RayBio® COVID-19 Spike-ACE2 binding assay kit is a patented, rapid, simple, and sensitive method to characterize the binding affinity of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike (S) protein and the Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor complex in the presence of potential inhibitors.

Positive and negative controls for the Spike-ACE2 binding assays are available as an accessory item. Click here.

The binding assay comes in two different options based on which protein is immobilized on the plate and which protein is added in solution (i.e. "query"). It is the researcher's responsibility to select the format for their study.

Store kit at 4°C for up to 1 month from date of shipment.

The kit is great, we have use 3 kits already. Something extra to say not product related itself, is BE CAREFUL with the temperature labeled in the shipping box. All items I've got from RayBiotech has came with a -20C storage recommendation when the actual kit temp is 4C and few items are -20. My coworker didnt check and all my kit got into -20 overnight until I came next day and verify it.

Kit doesn't come with kind of protocol but, works very well.

Some of the wells did work well. Next time we are planning to do an overnight incubation to give it a better chance. I'm ordering a 2nd kit.

Stanford University
we tested the transduction efficiency of the viruses on wild type 293 cells... plasma samples were used as negative.

I checked inhibition of SARS-CoV2 spike protein and ACE2 interaction by using using our developed vaccine and it worked really well.

Washington University in St. Louis
Kit helped us to check whether the our test compound is inhibiting the interaction or not

South dakota state university
Positive control along with kit showed a good signal. However, our RBD antigen showed no binding with secondary Abs. So finally we used competitive ELISA, it looks good though. Now it is the 2nd kit we are using, good product.
