This product reacts with the diphtheria toxin/toxoid.Diphtheria toxin is an exotoxin secreted by various strains of Corynebacterium diphtheriae that is the cause of Diphtheria. The active toxin is a single chain of 535 amino acids composed of 3 distinct structural/functional domains; and N-terminal ADP-ribosyltransferase (catalytic domain); a region which facilitates the delivery of the catalytic domain across the cell membrane (transmembrane domain) and the eukaryotic cell receptor binding domain.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
