Specificity

This product recognizes Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), a protein component of the viral envelope, which is expressed predominantly in the cytoplasm of infected hepatocytes.
Hepatitis B virus is a major causative agent of acute and chronic liver disease in humans.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
