This product is specific for gp120, an exterior envelope glycoprotein on the surface of the virus particle that acts as a receptor for CD4 and chemokine receptors on macrophages and T-lymphocytes.It does not react with human T cells, B cells, normal bovine serum or normal human serum. In western blotting a predominant gp120 band is observed.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
