This product detects a band of approximately 130kDa in HeLa, Jurkat and NSO (mouse) cell lysates.

Specificity

This product specifically recognizes an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of damage-specific DNA binding protein 1 (DDB1), a 130kD protein that forms the large subunit of DNA damage binding protein (DDB). DDB1 is involved in the nucleotide-excision repair of DNA following damage caused by ultraviolet radiation.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
