This product detects a band of approximately 80-90kDa in U937 cell lysates. An overnight incubation time of 12 hours is recommended for this antibody.
This product recognizes the protein GADD34 (growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible 34). GADD34 is a member of a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased in response to treatment with DNA damaging agents or conditions of stress. Induction of GADD34 by ionising radiation has been reported in some cell lines, regardless of p53 status. Reports suggest that GADD34 may be involved in signal transuction pathway controlling cell cycle arrest and/or apoptosis following DNA damage.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
