Preparation:
Antisera to human LIVIN (CT) were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.

This product detects bands of approximately 30 & 35kDa in MOLT4 cell lysates. A minimum incubation time of 1 hour is recommended with this antibody.

Specificity

This product specifically recognizes an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human LIVIN, otherwise known as BIRC7, a 30kD protein that is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) protein family. LIVIN is located in the nucleus and throughout the cytoplasm, and is expressed at low or undetectable levels in most adult tissues.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
