Specificity
This product recognizes an epitope within the N-terminal region (NT) of lymphocyte adaptor protein (LNK), an SH2-containing adaptor protein, which regulates cytokine receptor-mediated and growth factor pathways, and plays an essential role in B cell lymphopoiesis.
LNK mRNA is preferentially expressed in lymph node and spleen lymphocytes and the expression of LNK in vascular endothelial cells (ECs), increases in response to TNFα. The role of LNK as a negative regulator, includes the down regulation of the pro-inflammatory molecules VCAM-1 and E-selectin induced by TNFα, modulation of P13-kinase and MAPK ERK1/2 activity, and negative regulation of Thrombopoietin-mediated cell proliferation and endomitosis in hematopoietic cell lines.

Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
