Preparation:
Antisera to mouse MCP-3 were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.

For long term storage, the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.
N.B. For functional studies do not add azide.
Specificity
This product is specific for mouse monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3), also known as CCL7.
MCP-3 is chemotactic for monocytes, lymphocytes, eosinophils and basophils and is reported to be involved in allergen induced inflammation.

Storage/Stability
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C. Following reconstitution store at -20 °C.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
