This product is specific for poliovirus, an enterovirus that is the causitive agent of most paralytic poliomyelitis cases and is responsible for the majority of polio outbreaks during the first half of the 20th century. This antibody will recognize poliovirus types 1, 2 and 3.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
