This product recognizes mouse CD103, otherwise known as Integrin alpha-E. CD103 binds Integrin beta 7 to form the heterodimeric integrin molecule aEβ7. This complex is sometimes referred to as CD103, though strictly speaking CD103 only refers to the alpha chain. The beta 7 subunit can also interact with other integrin alpha chains. The aEβ7 complex is a receptor for E-cadherin. It mediates adhesion of intra-epithelial T-lymphocytes to epithelial cell monolayers. CD103 is expressed on intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes and is highly expressed on regulatory T cells. This antibody has been reported to also recognize the aEβ7 complex.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
