This product is specific for Campylobacter fetus (NCTC 10842, ATCC 27374), as confirmed in a simple ELISA.
Campylobacter fetus is a gram negative bacteria that can cause systemic infections in immunocompromised hosts. It resists the normal bactericidal actions of serum due to its S-protein capsule which prevents C3b binding.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
