This product is specific for Hepatitis B Core Antigen. The Hepatitis B virus is one of the most important causative agents of acute and chronic liver disease in humans. HBcAg is a particulate antigen composed of a single polypeptide (p21). It is the replicative form of the virus, and is expressed in the infected cells.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
