Herpes simplex virus 1, also known as HSV-1 is a member of the herpes virus family, Herpesviridae that infect humans. HSV-1 is contagious and symptoms of infection include watery blisters in the skin or mucous membranes of the mouth, lips or genitals.
This product binds to the HSV-1 VP21/VP22a scaffold proteins.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
