This product recognizes bone specific alkaline phosphatase, a tetrameric glycoprotein found on the surface of oseoblast cells. It is normally present in high concentrations in growing bone and in bile and is released into the blood during injury and bone growth. Elevated levels can infer several conditions including Paget's disease and osteocarcinoma.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
