ELISA (recommended work dilution= 1:10e6(at least detecting 10pg/ml)), Western Blotting (recommended work dilution= 1:1000-2000(at least)), Immunohistology-frozen, Apoptosis Induction (recommended work dilution= study in vitro and vivo), (see image)Immunodetection Analysis: The membrane blot was probed with anti- beta2 M primary antibody(1 µg/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection system. Arrows indicate cellular recombinant beta2 M (12 kDa).
Immunogen was Human beta2 Microglobulin. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Supplied as lyophilized purified antibody. The antibody is stable for at least a few years from the data of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody (suggesting with sterile PBS) can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for months without detectable loss activity. Upon reconstitution, the antibody can be stored at 4°C for 1 month. If 1 ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100 µg/ml. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Human Beta-2 Microglobulin (beta2 M) is an 11.8 kD protein identical to the light chain of the HLA-A, -B, and -C antigen. beta2 M is expressed on nucleated cells, and is found at low levels in the serum and urine of normal individuals. Its concentrations are increased in inflammatory diseases, some viral diseases, renal dysfunction, and autoimmune diseases. A number of publications are available which explain the interpretation of beta2 M serum levels in assessing the status of individuals with various clinical conditions. beta2 M was expressed in multiple cell lines derived from patients with prostate cancer, and human B2M was found in serum of mice bearing human prostate cancer xenografts. Immunohistochemistry showed that beta2 M is highlyexpressed in prostate acinar cells and suggests increased expressionin malignant over nonmalignant cells. Lastly, serumbeta2 M levels significantly elevated in patients with advanced prostate cancer.
The antibody detects specifically target derived from human recombinant protein as well as Conditioned mediumfrom LNCaP cells of at various concentrations. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat are not tested yet.
Store at -20°C if not intended for use within a month, Keep it at 4°C and minimize freezing and thawing when use.
