This antibody recognizes the integrin alphax subunit, a 150kD glycoprotein expressed by macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes and NK cells. The antigen is also expressed by hairy cell leukaemia cells.
Ligands for CD11c are ICAM-1, iC3b, and fibrinogen. The molecule has a role in mediating adherence of granulocytes and monocytes to endothelium and fibrinogen.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
