This product recognizes the human CD13 cell surface glycoprotein, a 150kD molecule expressed by granulocytes and monocytes, and by myeloid leukaemia cells.
CD13 functions as an aminopeptidase enzyme and is also a receptor for coronavirus.
Inhibits infection of cells by human coronavirus, inhibits aminopeptidase N activity of the CD13 molecule immunoprecipitates.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
