This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
This antibody recognizes to the 45kD leucocyte surface glycoprotein specific for the CD48 antigen which is closely related to the activation antigen, Blast-1.
It is useful in the detection of CD48 positive cells and may be used in studies to differentiate hemapoietic tumours, sarcomas and melanomas.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
