This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
This product binds to human mast cell chymase, an important marker of mast cells and also an important mediator of inflammation.
This product may be used to detect mast cells in routinely fixed tissues, and has been used to study the distribution of mast cells in skin, synovium, lung and heart.
Binding of This product to chymase is not reduced in the presence of heparin, suggesting that the antibody does not bind to the heparin-binding domain of chymase.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
