This product recognizes a common antigenic determinant that is found in the LPS of Salmonella enteriditis (Group D), Salmonella typhimurium (Group B) and Salmonella paratyphi (Group A) . This antibody is thought to recognize the '0-12' antigen [2-D-mannose (1-4) I- ramnose (1-3)-D galactose] of salmonella LPS. A similar sequence is found in Group E, which may account for the weak cross reactivity observed with bacteria of this group.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
