This product is specific for B. burgdorferi, it also reacts with Treponema pallidum, B. hermsii, and B. parkerii.B. burgdorferi is the agent of Lyme Disease, a vector-borne disease transmitted by ticks.In Western blotting bands are seen at 83kDa, 41kDa, 34kDa, 31kDa. Additional lower MW bands may also be observed.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
