Specificity

This product reacts with numerous proteins in a soluble C. albicans extract in immunoelectrophoresis.

Candida albicans is the most frequently isolated fungal pathogen of humans. It principally infects the skin and mucosal surfaces causing candidiasis or thrush.

This antibody has not been absorbed and cross reacts with other yeasts.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
