Protein Name & Synonyms:
ELISA (dilution: 1/1000, 1/2500)
This product recognizes Citrulline, an amino acid. Although citrulline is an amino acid, it is not incorporated into proteins during synthesis but is generated within proteins by the deimination of arginine.
Citrulline occurs normally in many proteins, such as Myelin basic protein (MBP) while others, such as fibrin become citrullinated during inflammation or apoptosis.
This antibody recognizes conjugated citrulline, but not free citrulline.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
