Specificity
This product is specific for Corticosterone, a steroid hormone which is produced by the adrenal gland. It is the major glucocorticoid in many species, having a role in stress response and immune reactions.
This antibody show minimal cross-reactivity with the following related hormones:
11-Deoxycorticosterone 1%
Cortisol 0.1%
Progesterone 0.02%
Testosterone <0.01%

Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
