This product reacts with actylcholinesterase from Electrophorus electricus (electric eel).
Acetylcholinesterase exists as a homotetramer composed of 4 70kDa subunits. Each subunit contains 1 enzymatically active site.
Acetylcholinesterase catalyses the hydrolysis of acetylcholine to acetate and choline.

Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
