Preparation:
Antisera to human Exodus-2 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 1.0ml sterile PBS containing 0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin.. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.

Specificity
This product is specific for human Exodus-2, otherwise known as CCL21, a 111 amino acid CC chemokine which, like CCL19 (small inducible cytokine A19), signals through the CCR7 receptor.
Exodus-2 is expressed in the HEV and T cell rich areas of lymph nodes and Peyer❏'s patches, T cell areas of the spleen and by lymphatic endothelium of many organs, acting as a potent chemoattractant for thymocytes and T lymphocytes. Exodus-2 possesses characteristics of a homing molecule for lymphocytes to secondary lymphoid organs and has been shown to inhibit hematopoiesis.

Storage/Stability
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
