Human, Mouse and rat
This product detects a band of approximately 95kDa in human Jurkat cell lysates . (Predicted MW: 115-120kDa).
This product recognizes human CD289, otherwise known as toll receptor 9, a member of the evolutionarily conserved toll-like receptor family (TLRs), which play an important role in the recognition of invading microbial pathogens during innate immunity.
CD289 is expressed preferentially by the spleen, lymph node, bone marrow and peripheral blood leucocytes and recognizes viral DNA and unmethylated CpG sequences in bacterial DNA. Unlike other TLRs, TLR9 is dependant upon the adaptor molecule MyD88 for signaling activation.
This product has been shown as suitable for use in IHC on human Jurkat cell cytospins @ 2ug/ml.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
