This product detects a band of approximately 42kD in HeLa cell lysates.

Specificity

This product is specific for human flap structure-specific endonuclease 1 (FEN1).

FEN1 is a member of the XPG/RAD2 endonuclease family which has an important role in lagging strand DNA synthesis and base excision repair. It is hypothesised that FEN1 may play a role in the inhibltion of triplet repeat expansion.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
