Preparation:
Antiserum to human IGFBP-9 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.

Specificity
This product is specific for human IGFBP-9 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein- 9), also known as NOV/CCN3, a 326 amino acid cysteine-rich secreted regulatory protein and member of the CCN family, containing the domains IGFBP, VWFC, C-terminal cysteine knot-like and thrombospondin type I repeat.
IGFBP-9 is an inducer of cell migration and adhesion and shows increased expression in Wilm❏'s tumours and nephroblastomas. In contrast, decreased expression of IGFBP-9 correlates with an increase in tumourgenicity in certain cancers including childhood adrenocortical tumours (ACT).

Storage/Stability
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
