Protein Name & Synonyms:
MIG CXCL9
Applications:
ELISA (dilution: 0.1, 0.2ug/ml), Functional Assays, Immunohistology - Paraffin, Western Blotting
Concentration (lot specific):
1.0mg/ml
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.
Species Reactivity:
Human
This product specifically recognizes human CXCL9, otherwise known as MIG (monokine induced by Interferon-gamma), a member of the CXC family of chemokine receptors, secreted by interferon stimulated monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells, which signals through binding to CD183 (CXCR3).
CXCL9 acts as a Th1 (type 1 helper T) cell chemoattractant, and plays a role in the growth, activation and movement of cells associated with immune and inflammatory responses, and in tumour growth inhibition and angiogenesis. Studies have shown that CXCL9 is active against E.coli, S.aureus, L.monocytogenes and S.pyogenes.
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
