Preparation:
Antisera to human TSLP were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water.. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.

Specificity
This product is specific for human TSLP (thymic stromal lymphopoietin), a 132 amino acid secreted hemopoietic cytokine which shares biological properties with interleukin-7 (IL-7), including involvement in B-cell development, and the activation and phosphorylation of STAT3 and STAT5.
TSLP is expressed in the heart, liver and prostate and functions through binding to a receptor complex consisting of the TSLPR (thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor) and the IL-7R alpha chain. Properties attributed to TSLP include the induction of monocytes to release T cell-attracting chemokines, enhancing the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells and their ability to stimulate T cells, and strong evidence suggests that TSLP plays a pivotal role in allergic immune responses.

Storage/Stability
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
