This product recognizes all antigens of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, a bacterium distinguished phenotypically from other bacteria by the lack of a peptidoglycan cell wall, that is a common causative agent of atypical pneumonia in young humans.
Central nervous system (CNS) manifestations are the most frequent extrapulmonary complications, and include encephalitis, aseptic meningitis, cerebellar ataxia, and myelitis.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
