Protein Name & Synonyms:
GM-CSF / CSF2
Applications:
ELISA (dilution: 0.1ug/ml, 0.2ug/ml), Functional Assays, Western Blotting
Concentration (lot specific):
IgG concentration 1.0 mg/ml after reconstitution.
Preparation:
Antisera to mouse GM-CSF were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water.. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. NB: For functional studies do not add azide.
Species Reactivity:
Mouse
This product specifically recognizes mouse granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), a hematopoietic growth factor which exists in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated biologically active forms, and stimulates the development of granulocytes, macrophages, early megakaryocytes and eosinophil progenitor cells. The ability of recombinant GM-CSF to increase hematopoietic cell recovery has become a focus area in the therapeutic treatment of patients following bone marrow transplantation.
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C. Following reconstitution store at -20 °C.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
