Preparation:

Antisera to mouse TLR7 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by ion exchange chromatography.

Specificity

This product is specific for mouse Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7).

TLR7 is thought to play a role in the innate immune response to viral pathogens.

Mouse TLR7 is localized in endosomal compartments, and recognizes single stranded RNA viruses. Stimulation of TLR7 causes a type I IFN response, in a MyD88 dependent pathway.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
