Specificity

This product recognizes phosphoserine, peptidyl-phosphoserine, and serine-phosphorylated proteins. Does not cross react with ATP, phosphotyrosine, peptidyl phosphothreonine and serine. Slight cross reactivity with free phosphothreonine is observed.
Phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of intracellular proteins occurs in response to extracellular signals. In certain disease states such as cancer, abnormal protein phosphorylation can occur.

Storage/Stability

Store at -20 °C only.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
