This product recognizes the calcitonin receptor in human, mouse and rat. The calcitonin receptor is a seven transmembrane domain cell surface protein which is coupled to G protein messenger systems. Calcitonin receptor is expressed in kidney, central and peripheral nervous systems and in osteoclasts. It is also expressed in a number of tissues during the development of the embryo and may be important in fetal morphogenesis.

This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
