Protein Name & Synonyms:
Collagen III
Applications:
Immunohistology - Frozen, ELISA (dilution: 1/1500, 1/6000), Immunofluorescence
Concentration (lot specific):
0.1 mg/ml after reconstitution
Preparation:
Antiserum to rat collagen type III was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.5 ml distilled water.. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
This product is specific for rat collagen type III, binding to both native and heat denatured collagen type III. This antibody is reactive with rat kidney, liver, skin and heart, but does not stain basement membranes.
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
