This product recognizes rat macrophage inflammatory protein-1 alpha (MIP-1 alpha) also known as CCL3.
MIP-1 alpha has a molecular weight of approximately 7.8kD and is produced by activated macrophages.
MIP-1 alpha has been shown to be involved in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages.
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C. Following reconstitution store at -20 °C.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
