This product recognizes the human CD59 cell surface antigen, an 18-20kD GPI linked glycoprotein broadly expressed by human leucocytes and erythrocytes.
This product has been shown to block the normal function of CD59.
CD59 is expressed by erythrocytes, and therefore staining in whole blood systems requires a higher concentration of antibody.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
