Specificity

This product is located in the cytoplasm as distinct spots near the nucleus.

The antigen is found in dendritic cells; This antibody does not stain thymic epithelial cells which are the major contaminants in thymic dendritic cell preparations. The antigen is also absent in blood cells, bone marrow cells or macrophages isolated from the peritoneal cavity.

The antigen is found in interdigitating cells in T cell dependent areas of secondary lymphoid organs, the medulla of thymus, veiled cells, and very weakly in Langerhans cells.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
