Preparation:
Antisera to human albumin were raised by repeated immunisation of sheep with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by ion exchange chromatography.
Species Reactivity:
Human, The unconjugated antiserum has been tested, by immunodiffusion, for inter-species reactivity against the following species sera (10ul of antisera vs 1ul of species sera), Bovine, Cat, Chicken, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat
Specificity
This product recognizes human albumin. The antibody gives a single arc in immunodiffusion against human serum.
Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
