This product recognizes Ceruloplasmin, a ferroxidase enzyme produced in the liver that is a major copper-carrying protein and removes iron from cells. Ceruloplasmin deficiency leads to an abnormal deposition of iron in the brain, pancreas and liver.
This antibody shows minimal reactivity with related serum proteins.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
