This product has been used for immunohistochemistry on formaldehyde fixed tissue, it is useful for cell body but not fiber staining
This product recognizes tryptophan hydroxylase, an ensyme involved in the synthesis of the neurotransmitter serotonin. In a Western blot Rat pineal, hypothalamus and dorsal raphe tissue have been used. A band at approximately 55 kD is observed.
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
