CGRP-I ELISA Kit
CGRP-I ELISA Kit
I used the CGRP kit this week and the instructions are quite confusing in parts. You have vials labeled Assay Diluent B and them Item E. Why things are labeled with multiple letters is confusing. Also, the instructions for the standards says to add 450ul of biotinylated CGRP-I in C8 and then down in C10 it says to repeats with each successive concentration for a serial dilution. It then says 'each time, use 450ul of biotinylated CGRP-1 and 50ul of prior concentration." It should simply say use 50ul of previous tube for the next tube. You do not use 450ul of biotinylated CGRP again. It's very confusing. Your illustration only shows 50ul going to each next tube not 50ul + 450ul. The instructions also bounce back and forth and gets confusing. It should all stay in a linear explanation.

This kit was easy to set up and use. The instructions were a little confusing at times, but overall a pretty straightforward ELISA. We got the data we were looking for and would order this kit again for future experiments.
