Mapping lupus nephritis from a urine sample

Using the Kiloplex Quantibody array to quantify 1,000 urine proteins across 30 patients with active lupus nephritis, investigators resolved an IFN-γ-driven chemokine gradient that flagged proliferative disease. Integrated with kidney single-cell RNA-seq, the urine signature tracked kidney-infiltrating CD8+ T cells (r² = 0.84) — positioning multiplexed urine proteomics as a noninvasive liquid biopsy.

From a 1,000-protein screen to a causal biomarker

Using the L-Series antibody array to screen ~1,000 serum proteins in acute-MI patients with and without heart failure, researchers surfaced S100A8/A9 as the top candidate — then validated it in more than 2,000 patients as a predictor outperforming troponin, BNP and hs-CRP, with Mendelian randomization supporting a causal role.

Pinpointing the drivers of lung-cancer drug resistance

A 448-analyte Quantibody secretome screen across a living biobank of patient-derived fibroblasts identified HGF and FGF7 as the factors driving EGFR/ALK-inhibitor resistance, defining three functional fibroblast subtypes that tracked patient clinical response and immune-cell infiltration.

Our arrays are affinity-based, using a defined menu of antibodies with ELISA-grade sensitivity (down to pg/mL) from microliter-scale samples; no fractionation or enrichment is required. Mass spectrometry excels at unbiased identification; antibody arrays excel at sensitive, reproducible detection of low-abundance signaling proteins. Many labs use MS to discover and our platforms to quantify and validate.

As little as 20 µL for Discovery and 150 µL–1.5 mL for Quantitative. Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, urine, CSF, BAL, saliva, cell and tissue lysates, and cell culture media.

Standard turnaround for our proteomic services is 6–8 weeks from receipt of samples.
