Introduction

The cytokine array is an antibody based immunoassay similar to ELISA, but able to simultaneously measure multiple proteins on one solid support. The Cytokine Array C5 is a membrane-based antibody array, using a panel of 80 different capture antibodies printed on a nitrocellulose membrane. The protein from the incubated sample is captured, and a detection antibody is also bound, creating the antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich. C-Series arrays are processed similarly to a western blot and the entire procedure can be completed in 1 day with little to no optimization.

I wanted to get something that can work on primary cell line and it turned out good. Results received after experiments had let us plan on which cytokine study we might need to work on for further study. Kit is simple and was of good quality.

I highly recommend this cytokine array kit! It is very easy to use and generates great results. Be sure to set up proper experimental conditions, I used cell culture supernates which yielded much less background than cell lysates.

it's an easy kit to use. However, I was not very impressed with their excel software. there was a mistake which we caught and ask them to fix bit they didn't even give us a discount. Other than it's straightforward and give you great results.
