Amine Hi-Sur Mag (1 µm) are hydrophilic magnetic beads with amine groups. These surface groups allow covalent bond formation to proteins/peptides via primary amine, carboxy or thiol groups. Oligonucleotides, antibodies or other ligands with these groups can be easily coupled to the beads. Activation through EDC or Sulfo-SMCC is required. Attribute to their very large surface area (about three times larger than that of the Amine Mono Mag (1 µm) and unique surface coating, Amine Hi-Sur Mag (1 µm) exhibit superior binding capacity and low non-specific binding of protein or nucleic acids.
