Immunogen
The immunogen was a recombinant protein. This antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction was purified from rabbit serum followed by Protein A/G affinity chromatography.
Recommended ApplicationsELISA (recommended work dilution= 1: 80, 000) , Western Blotting (recommended work dilution= 1: 1, 000-5, 000) , Immunodetection Analysis: Representative blot from a previous lot. Lane 1, recombinant protein BTC-beta. The membrane blot was probed with anti BTC-beta primary antibody (0.2 µg/ml). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to IRDye 800CW detection system. Arrows indicate recombinant protein BTC-beta from E.coli cell (20kDa).

Description

Description

Betacellulin (BTC) is a member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family which binds and activates the EGF receptor and erbB-4, synthesized primarily as a transmembrane precursor.

Specificity

This antibody binds to its immunogen, and did not show any cross reactivity with unrelated antigens in ELISA. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat BTCbeta has not been tested yet.

Storage

Store at 4°C if intended for use within one month, otherwise, store at -20°C to -80°C. The lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 18 months after the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -81°C. After reconstitution, it can be aliquoted and stored
